- I've recently installed a Hydranet card on my early-model A4000/040 and
- found that it often stops the machine from rebooting. The Ethernet
- interface is terminated.
-
- A _cold_ boot seems to work if the hardware has been off for some time,
- but a warm boot tends not to, about 80 to 90% of the time.
-
- Unplugging the card (with power off!) return the machine to its normal
- "rebootability". Pluggin the card in, causes a hang on reboot.
-
- It seems like an Autoconfig problem, as the startup-sequence doesn't
- even get executed; neither does it get far enough for the boot
- requestor to pop up when I hold down both mouse buttons.
